How much do I earn?
20% of net collected revenue on every referred client, paid for the first 12 months of their engagement with Arise GEO. Monthly recurring engagements pay monthly; one-off audits and projects pay once.
Who can refer?
Anyone — agencies, freelancers, past clients, friends of the firm. You do not need to be a customer. You do need to disclose the referral relationship to the prospect (FTC requirement in the US).
When do I get paid?
Net-30 after Arise GEO collects payment from the referred client. Payouts go via ACH (US) or Wise (international). We require a signed W-9 or W-8BEN before the first payout.
What counts as a qualified referral?
A prospect who (a) is introduced by name via the form or an email intro before their first sales call with us, (b) is not already in our CRM, and (c) signs a paid engagement within 90 days of introduction.
Can I refer myself or my own company?
No self-referrals. Referrals to a company where you are an owner, officer, or paid consultant are excluded unless disclosed and approved in writing in advance.
Is there a cap?
No cap on the number of referrals. Individual deal payouts are capped at $25,000 per referred client per 12-month period unless a written override is agreed in advance.
Referral program terms
Last updated: July 26, 2026. These terms govern participation in the Arise GEO Referral Program. Submitting a referral means you accept them. We may update these terms; changes apply to referrals submitted after the update date.
1. Commission
Arise GEO will pay the referring party (the "Referrer") a commission equal to 20% of net collected revenue received from a Qualified Referral (defined below) for the first twelve (12) months following the Qualified Referral's initial paid engagement start date. "Net collected revenue" means gross fees actually received by Arise GEO from the referred client, less refunds, chargebacks, third-party pass-throughs (paid media spend, tool licenses, contractor costs), and applicable taxes.
2. Qualified Referral
A "Qualified Referral" is a prospect that: (a) is submitted through the referral form on this page or a written email intro to a named Arise GEO employee before the prospect's first sales conversation with Arise GEO; (b) is not, on the date of submission, an existing customer, active prospect in Arise GEO's CRM, or a party Arise GEO has been in contact with in the prior twelve (12) months; (c) executes a paid engagement with Arise GEO within ninety (90) days of the submission date; and (d) is not affiliated with Referrer in a manner excluded under Section 5.
3. Payment terms
Commissions are calculated monthly and paid net-thirty (30) days from the end of the month in which Arise GEO collects the underlying client payment. Payments are made by ACH (US) or Wise (international). A valid IRS Form W-9 (US) or W-8BEN / W-8BEN-E (non-US) must be on file before the first payout; Arise GEO may withhold amounts required by applicable tax law. Referrer is solely responsible for any income tax owed on commissions received.
4. Cap and duration
Commission per Qualified Referral is capped at twenty-five thousand US dollars ($25,000 USD) per rolling twelve (12) month period unless a higher amount is agreed in a signed writing before the referral is submitted. Commission obligations end on the earlier of (i) the twelve-month anniversary of the client's engagement start date, or (ii) the date the client ceases paid engagement with Arise GEO for any reason.
5. Exclusions
The following are not eligible for commission: (a) self-referrals or referrals to any entity in which Referrer is an owner, officer, director, employee, or paid consultant, unless disclosed in writing and approved by Arise GEO in advance; (b) prospects already in Arise GEO's pipeline; (c) prospects introduced by another party first (first written submission wins in the event of a conflict, at Arise GEO's reasonable discretion); (d) engagements that never generate collected revenue; (e) engagements terminated during a refund window resulting in refunded revenue; and (f) referrals submitted after the prospect's first sales conversation with Arise GEO.
6. Disclosure and conduct
Referrer agrees to disclose the existence of this referral relationship to the prospect upon request and to comply with all applicable laws, including the US Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines and equivalent rules in other jurisdictions. Referrer will not misrepresent Arise GEO's services, pricing, results, or availability; make guarantees about outcomes; use Arise GEO's name, marks, or content without prior written consent; engage in spam, deceptive advertising, trademark bidding on Arise GEO branded terms, or paid placements that could reasonably be attributed to Arise GEO; or contact prospects on Arise GEO's behalf after the referral has been accepted. Violation of this section is grounds for immediate termination and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
7. Independent contractor relationship
Nothing in this program creates an employment, partnership, joint-venture, franchise, or agency relationship between Referrer and Arise GEO. Referrer has no authority to bind Arise GEO or make representations on its behalf. Referrer is an independent contractor and is not entitled to any employee benefits.
8. Confidentiality
Referrer will keep any non-public information about Arise GEO, its clients, its pricing, or prospect status confidential and will use such information solely to facilitate a referral. This obligation survives termination of participation in the program.
9. Right to decline
Arise GEO may decline any prospect for any lawful reason, including competitive conflicts, capacity, unfit fit, or brand-safety concerns, without owing commission. Arise GEO may also modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time; termination does not affect commissions already earned on referrals submitted before the effective date of termination.
10. Data and privacy
Referrer represents that they have a legitimate basis to share the prospect's contact information with Arise GEO and, where required by law, have obtained the prospect's consent. Arise GEO will handle submitted information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arise GEO's total liability arising from or related to this referral program is limited to the total commissions paid or owed to Referrer in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Arise GEO is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction there. The prevailing party in any dispute is entitled to reasonable attorneys' fees.
13. Entire agreement
These terms, together with any signed referral agreement between Referrer and Arise GEO, are the entire agreement between the parties regarding the referral program and supersede any prior discussions. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
